About the creator

Creative instinct.
Engineering discipline.

Ryan King is a lifelong writer and a Dungeons & Dragons campaign designer and game master with more than twenty years of experience building worlds, directing group stories, and keeping complex rules and continuity usable in motion.

He began writing in third grade and has played D&D v3.5 since age thirteen. He went on to create original campaign worlds, characters, encounters, and flexible story systems while running games for groups of six or more people. That experience required anticipating choices, adapting to different players, preserving established facts, closing logical gaps, and letting consequences reshape the story without breaking its foundation.

Long-form novel writing began at twenty-nine, making it one of his newer writing disciplines. AI instruction and system development came later still. Both build on the much longer foundation established through writing, campaign design, game mastering, world-system construction, and real-time collaborative storytelling.

His approach treats prompting as only one layer. A dependable system also needs authority order, role boundaries, preserved context, handoff structure, validation evidence, recovery paths, and a definition of done that cannot be satisfied by polished-looking placeholders.

The work behind the work

More than twenty years
of rules, worlds, and choices.

D&D campaign design and game mastering are the longest-running creative foundation represented here. Novel development and AI system design are newer extensions of that established continuity, facilitation, writing, and problem-solving practice.

01

D&D campaign design + game mastering

More than two decades creating original campaign worlds, encounters, characters, rules interactions, and responsive sessions—including games for groups of six or more players.

02

World systems + continuity

Building settings whose history, factions, locations, consequences, exceptions, and player choices remain connected across long-running collaborative play.

03

Long-form fiction + editorial control

Novel writing began at twenty-nine, adding manuscript-scale structure, voice, pacing, canon tracking, revision discipline, and author-controlled editorial boundaries.

04

AI instruction architecture

The newest discipline: translating long-practiced rules, continuity, audience awareness, and adaptive facilitation into role systems, knowledge documents, validation gates, and anti-drift controls.

Why DecaCap exists

More models should mean
more control—not more chaos.

DecaCap Builders grew from Ryan’s practical need to coordinate different AI strengths without losing project authority between tabs, tools, and handoffs. Its ten boxes make each participant’s job visible. Its supervisor rules make review part of the workflow. Its locked Obmil identities keep the board legible even when providers and responsibilities change.

GoldCap extends the same philosophy to a user-controlled local model: learning data should be prepared intentionally, local boundaries should remain visible, and the interface should never pretend an operation happened when no compatible runtime completed it.
